Tahoe snow
Went to Tahoma for a snow vacation, and boy did we find what we were looking for! We dug a snow cave for shelter:
We went skiing (backwards, for some reason):
And, of course, we went sledding!
This movie, previously posted, generated some concern: our more tender-hearted viewers thought the ride might have been too much for Felix. In fact, as this next movie (taken on the run previous to that shown above) shows, his real complaint was simply that he hadn't had a chance to barrel into me a second time.
Even Gideon got some time in the snow, though truth be told he didn't much care for it.

Felix is...
This morning Felix announces himself to be:
Half dinosaur
Half lizard
Half dynamite
Half Tyrannosaurus Rex
Half Triceratops
Half fairy
Half horse
Half unicorn
Half tiger
Good imagination, bad math.

Movie: Come to life
You may recall the encounter with the blue puppet at the corn maze, its apparent animation at my hands, and Felix's resulting terror. You may recall, too, my hope that I had managed to explain away the puppet's actions, to quell Felix's fears. I realize now that a lasting impression was made: New York's museums, specifically the Met and the Museum of Natural History, presented many opportunities to test this, as shown in the following movies:

Movie: This is how we roll along
Fairfax is a big, big town for bikers, so no surprise we keep finding new wheeled devices to try out. Here's our latest:
Not really designed for three, but it made it to pizza and back!
