Movie: Learning to Land
There's really nothing better than setting out to teach a baby something and succeeding. I've been trying to teach Gideon how to get off a piece of furniture for several weeks now. His instinctive method is to throw himself off head first. Given that our furniture is low and his neck quite strong this is not an altogether bad way to go about it, but one day he may find himself on higher furniture, and besides, it doesn't look good. So we did this: land on your head, try again, land on your feet, can't be beat. Took a while--and it's a long video, too--but it worked!
