Movie: Gideon WALKS

Babies are not stupid, they know when you're trying to pressure them. It's a counterproductive strategy, really, to try to get them to a milestone they aren't ready to pass. But I tell you we just couldn't help it these past two or three months. It was obvious Gideon had all the parts of walking...and yet he just wouldn't do it. Today I tried something a bit different. Instead of letting him hold one finger when we strolled along together, I held him by his overall straps, thereby seeming to give support, and also being in a position to cease doing so if I thought he wouldn't miss it. The results, the very, very exciting results:

So there you are, and there we are. He's going to be simply impossible from now on.
